This policy explains what serkalaw.com stores in your browser, why, for how long, and how you manage your choice. How Serka Law Firm processes personal data in general, and your rights, are set out in our Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a small text file that a website, or a service running on it, leaves in your browser. Local storage does the same job inside the browser's own store and is not sent with every request to the site. In this policy we call both "records".
2. Your first visit
Until you make a choice, the site stores no record in your browser, Google Analytics is not loaded and the embedded map is not loaded. The panel at the bottom of the page lets you accept or deny all records, or choose them one by one under "View preferences".
3. The records we use
serka-consent (local storage)
- Provider: Serka Law Firm.
- Purpose: remembers your choice in the panel and the date of that choice.
- Duration: six months; after that the panel asks again.
- When it is set: when you make a choice in the panel.
_ga (cookie)
- Provider: Google (third party); written on our domain.
- Purpose: holds the random identifier Google Analytics uses to tell visits apart.
- Duration: up to two years; your browser may shorten it.
- When it is set: only if you allow statistics.
_ga_S76HDK36C8 (cookie)
- Provider: Google (third party); written on our domain.
- Purpose: lets Google Analytics count your session on this site.
- Duration: up to two years; your browser may shorten it.
- When it is set: only if you allow statistics.
If you allow statistics, Google Analytics processes the pages you visit, the time of the visit, your device and browser type, your approximate location and the address that brought you to the site.
4. The embedded map
The Google map on our contact page loads only after you accept all records or allow the "Marketing" category, which covers embedded content. Once the map loads, its content comes from Google's servers; to show you the map, Google receives connection data such as your IP address and browser details and processes them under its own privacy policy.
5. What we do not use
The site carries no cookie, pixel or tag for advertising or remarketing, and none that follows you across other websites.
6. Transfers abroad
Statistics data are sent to Google as the service provider and processed on Google's servers in other countries; this transfer begins only after you give your consent. The site is delivered over Cloudflare's network; to deliver the pages, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details technically, on its servers in other countries as well.
7. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time: the "Manage consent" button at the foot of every page, or the button below, opens the panel again. When you withdraw consent to statistics, the site deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. You can also delete or block cookies and site data in your browser's settings; if you delete the choice record, the panel opens again on your next visit.
8. Your rights and contact
Your rights over your personal data, and how to exercise them, are in our Privacy Policy. For questions about this policy, write to us:
